Our Coffee

As the team behind Little West, Somewhere North, Sol Canteen and Applegum, serving communities across the Inner West, North Shore, City Centre and North West, we believe great hospitality begins at origin.

We source ethical, transparent, small-lot Arabica beans grown by independent producers around the world. But while we love showcasing diverse regions, Brazil sits at the heart of our milk program, and for good reason. Brazilian coffees bring structure, sweetness and depth. They carry beautifully through milk without losing nuance. For us, they form the foundation.

Our Brazilian Focus

Our Brazilian components feature the Red Catuai, pulped natural lot grown by the Fim family, third generation Italian-Brazilian producers. Their coffee is delicate yet sweet, with clarity and a rounded presence that gives our milk coffees balance and elegance. More recently we introduced a component from Minas Gerais that brings great depth, body and structure to our espresso. The result is more layered – sweetness upfront, and cuts through the milk with a clean complex finish.

Roasting With Alignment

In August 2024 we began roasting with Made Of Many, a small Stanmore-based operation led by friends Ben, Junji and Josh. They’re a team focused on roasting with care and precision for a tight circle of aligned venues. We trust them because our standards match, our histories intersect, and our values align.

From the farms in Minas Gerais to our Brazilian export partners, Osito and Vequis, to Stanmore and into your cup, this is a deliberately short supply chain. Few hands, full accountability.
